Top Results for our Clients to start 2018

pre-audit

As we reach the end of the first quarter in 2018, we take a look back at our some of our recent successful projects.

In the past three months, 10 of our clients have undergone audits for a range of standards including BRC Storage and Distribution, BRC Packaging and BRC Food Safety.

Our first audit of the year was with our client Sheringham’s Fine Foods, who went through a BRC Storage and Distribution audit and were awarded the highest achievable grade of AA. Similarly, our clients Mash Purveyors, Linkclass and House of Westphalia were all awarded top marks with AA grades for BRC Storage and Distribution. We also assisted First Choice Veg and Houghton’s of London, who were both awarded A grade for their BRC Storage and Distribution audit. The BRC Storage and Distribution certification has been developed by industry professionals to create a practical quality management system for distribution businesses.

Our clients Siva Group and Reform Plastics also successfully passed their audits to receive their BRC Packaging certification. Both were awarded A grade for their certification. Siva Group had approached us in November looking to improve their current BRC grade and we were pleased to assist them in achieving their goal to improve their grade to A. The BRC Packaging Certification is appropriate for any manufacturer producing packaging materials for all types of products, on any level.

We also worked with Valley Grown Salads to assist them with retaining their BRC Food Safety certification, they were also awarded top marks with AA grade. As well as helping VGS retain their existing certification, they also enlisted our help to extend and maintain their high grade for a second site that had not yet been certificated. The BRC Food Safety Standard is all about the measurement, review and assessment of the factors that influence food safety. It is one of the standards recognised by the GFSI (Global Food Safety Initiative), so it has global recognition.

With 10 clients successfully passing their BRC audits in the first quarter of 2018, 7 of which were awarded the highest achievable grade – AA. We are really proud of these fantastic results over the past few months as a result of the hard work of our clients and our team. All of us at CFS are looking forward to continuing these top results in the next quarter.
